METABODIES



Metabodies is an ongoing series of sculptures beginning in 2016. The sculptures are abstract assemblages of materials such as plaster, resin, foam, thermoformed plastic, and found objects to create forms that evoke the hybridity of bodies and the systems they inhabit. The sculptures are inteneded to feel as if they were shaped by the same forces that shape bodies such as gravity, energy and entropy, as well as societal forces like social media, global industry, and political power.
